Raptor Consulting, Inc. was founded in April 2015 with the promise of providing professional, high quality well site geology and geosteering services throughout the Untied States. Raptor Consulting has dedicated itself to developing safe and enjoyable working environment for its employees, who are the backbone of our company. We provide our employees with the proper training to allow them to become exceptional well site geologist with a level of professionalism unmatched in the oil & gas industry.

Our current focus has been supporting drilling operations in the Appalachian Basin drilling very structural complex horizontal wells throughout the Marcellus Shale and the Utica/Point Pleasant. Raptor Consulting has recently expanded operations to include Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Kansas. Raptor Consulting tailors to a wide-variety of services need, including but not limited to well site geology, onsite and remote geosteering, digital gas detection, and geologic well evaluations.

Robert “Bo” McCue, President

Raptor Consulting, Inc. founder Robert “Bo” McCue has over 12 years of geology consulting experience drilling oil & gas wells in the Williston Basin, Appalachian Basin and the Illinois Basin. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Kentucky University in 2006 and immediately began his career in the oil & gas industry. In 2009 Robert moved to the Pittsburgh area and lives just outside Pittsburgh with his lovely wife Lindsey McCue and their twin daughters Ruby & Olivia. Robert enjoys spending time with his family!

Bryan Whitby, Executive Vice President

Bryan comes to Raptor with almost two decades of industry experience. Originally from Canada, Bryan immigrated to the United States in 1996 and became a citizen of the United States. Working with operating companies throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Middle East, Bryan is a professional at meeting and exceeding client expectations.

Bryan along with his wife Tanya and four children are currently living north of Pittsburgh. He enjoys spending time with his family outdoors camping, fishing, boating, along with volunteering for various organizations within the community they live.

Morgan Jacobson, Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager

Raptor welcomed Morgan in 2018. Her career in the Oil and Gas Industry began in 2011, when she began logging wells all over the Appalachian Region of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

Morgan’s career advanced when she was trained to lead many high-profile geology jobs and is when she truly fell in love with the industry. In the summer of 2018 Morgan was promoted to be Raptor’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager. Morgan’s extensive operational experience brings a unique and relatable perspective as a certified PEC/Safeland, H2S, Core Midstream and American Red Cross CPR / First Aid instructor when working with Raptor’s employees and clients.

When Morgan is not with her Raptor family she enjoys being with her own. Morgan and her family are Western Pennsylvania natives currently residing outside of the city of Pittsburgh. They are very involved in their community as well as the various other activities they are a part of.

Patrick Jordan, Geologist and Sales Representative (Houston, Texas)

Patrick Jordan started his career in the oil industry as a production geologist for BP Lower 48 (now BPX Energy) working in New Mexico’s San Juan Basin assessing coalbed methane reserves. Patrick then gained his field experience by working as wellsite geologist in the Delaware Basin and then started geosteering onsite in the SCOOP/STACK plays in the Anadarko Basin. Shortly afterwards, Patrick was an operations geologist in a command center, where he geosteered hundreds of wells across 11 different basins (Midland, Delaware, Eagle Ford/Austin Chalk, DJ – Niobrara/Codell, Haynesville/Cotton Valley – Louisiana and East Texas Basin, Fort Worth, Anadarko – SCOOP/STACK, Utica/Marcellus, and Bakken). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Geology from Mississippi State University.

Kristen Liebers, Geologist and Sales Representative

Kristen Liebers started her oilfield career in Denver Colorado serving the Powder River, Permian and Delaware Basins primarily. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University where she was active in her sorority, as well as the mathematical community. She is currently based in Denver, CO where she is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologist, and the West Texas Geological Society. Kristen was born in Graham, TX, but moved to Denver 5 years ago with her Husband and dog Luna. Since then she has grown her family by having her first daughter, and improved her skiing skills greatly.
